A caucus of Whitley County Democrats met Tuesday, December 7 to select an individual to serve on the Larwill Town Council.
Former councilwoman Lore Wolfe was chosen to fill the council vacancy. Wolfe was elected to the council a few years ago.
She resigned when she had to move from the district. She has recently returned to Larwill and is happy to be on the council once again.
In November, councilman Phil Cameron resigned from the post because he moved out of the district, leaving the Democratic vacancy on the board, which Wolfe filled.
Wolfe will begin serving in the role immediately.
